В этом посте я покажу сразу тринадцать новинок от бренда Bow: две термокраски для стемпинга, одна, светящаяся в темноте, и одна, меняющая цвет на солнце, сразу четыре лака со светоотражающими частицами (один из них даже термо), нюд, светящийся в темноте, а ещё четыре лака с необычным наполнением и оттенками.

Начну с коллекции Flash, в которой содержатся светоотражающие частицы, вспыхивающие почти белым серебром при попадании на них яркого прямого света. Как и с одеждой со светоотражающими элементами, эффект виден лучше всего при слабом окружающем освещении и направленном интенсивном источнике света или при прямой встроенной вспышке/фонарике в телефонах/фотоаппаратах.

Все лаки в этой серии имеют желейную основу, быстро сохнут и после высыхания становятся на ощупь песочными, но не слишком шершавыми. Для наглядности я добавила всем лакам прозрачный топ, что сделало их глянцевыми, но не изменило светоотражающие возможности наполнения и в любом варианте покрытие сверкает так же ярко как с топом, так и без. Также топ добавил насыщенности и чуть затемнил оттенки основ.

In this post I’ve got a lot to show you, as there’s a whopping 13 new Bow polishes: four stamping thermo paints (two with thermo effect, one that glows in the dark and one that changes its tone under sunlight), four light-reflecting polshes (one of them has thermo effect, too!), a glow-in-the-dark nude polish and four more fun polishes in unique shades and with unique contents.

I’ll start with the Flash collection – these polishes contain light-reflecting particles that flash with bright, almost white silvery sheen when direct light hits them. Same as it happens with reflective clothes, the effect of these polishes is best visible in low-lit conditions and with an intense light source aimed directly at the nails or under direct flashlight from a smartphone/camera.

All polishes in this range have jelly base, dry fast and become textured (but not too gritty) upon drying. For demonstration purposes, I applied a clear top coat over each polish to make them glossy and it didn’t change their reflective properties at all — the surface shines as bright with a top coat as it does without it. The top has also amped up the saturation a bit and made the base shade a bit darker compared to their “textured” state.

Blinder / Flash

Отдельно хочется остановиться на снятии лаков. Они удаляются с ногтей без замачивания или фольги, я их красила на обычную базу (не глиттерную) и они снимались с ногтей без особых усилий свойственных многим покрытиям с блестками. После 10-15 секунд прижимания безворсовой салфетки смоченной в ЖДСЛ покрытие будто рассыпалось на мелкие песочные частицы не царапая при этом ногтевую пластину.

I also want to focus on the topic of nail polish removal. These polishes can be removed without soaking or using foil method — I applied them over a regular (non-glitter) base and was able to remove them without any trouble, unlike most polishes with glitter contents. After pressing a lint-free wipe soaked in nail polish remover to the nail for 10-15 seconds the polish starts to disintegrate, creating tiny sand-like particles that can be removed easily without causing any damage to the nail plate.

You Are We / Thermo, Flash

В тёплом виде этот термолак — яркий холодный изумрудно-зелёный, а в холодном состоянии — тёмный глубокий приглушённый серо-фиолетовый. Текстура желейная, но в два слоя, благодаря насыщенности основы, уже может полностью скрыть свободный край ногтя.

Еще ни один лак в блоге я не показывала с таким количеством возможных вариантов)

In its warm state, this thermo polish takes on a bright, cool-toned emerald green colour, while in its cold state it’s a dark, deep greyish purple. It has a jelly texture, but it’s saturated enough to cover the visible nail line completely in two coats.

I don’t think I’ve ever shown so many different angles, states and nuances of a polish in this blog before 🙂

Luminous / Glow In The Dark

Нежный тёплый бежевый нюд с чуть разбелённой основой и золотисто-розовым микрошиммером. Лак очень ярко светится в темноте светом зелёного цвета.

This soft, delicate warm beige nude polish has a hint of white in its base and is filled with golden pink micro shimmer. In the dark it glows very bright green.

Stamping White/Green / Glow In The Dark

Светящийся в темноте лак для стемпинга, почти белый в основе, имеет лёгкий зеленоватый подтон и едва заметное вкрапление частиц.

This glow-in-the-dark stamping polish has an almost white base with a slight green undertone and contains barely visible glowing particles.

Stamping White/Violet / Solar

Почти белый лак для стемпинга. На солнце превращается в насыщенный фиолетовый. И чем ярче солнце на него попадает, тем ярче становится оттенок лака. При пасмурной погоде, с проблесками солнца, он будет пастельным нежно-фиолетовым.

This is an almost white stamping polish. Under sun rays it turns saturated purple and the brighter the sun, the more vibrant the shade gets. If the weather is partly cloudy, the polish will be pastel lilac.

Stamping Red/Black / Thermo

Термолак для стемпинга. В холодном варианте выглядит околочёрным тёмно-бордовым, а в тёплом — ярким насыщенным красным, с тёплым подтоном.

This is a thermo polish for stamping. In its cold state it takes on an almost black, dark bordeaux shade, and when it’s cold turns into a vibrant, saturated red with a warm undertone.

Stamping White/Gray / Thermo

Термолак для стемпинга. В холодном варианте — тёмно-серый, а в тёплом — светлый серо-бежевый, почти белый.

This is a thermo stamping polish. In its cold state it gets dark grey, while the warm state it’s represented by a light, almost white greyish beige.

Somebody Told Me

Полупрозрачное розово-фиолетовое желе, очень щедро наполненное массой голографических частиц, смешанных с мелкими квадратными полупрозрачными блёстками, переливающимися разными цветами. Для плотного покрытия достаточно два щедрых слоя.

This sheer pinkish purple jelly polish is filled abundantly with holographic particles mixed with small iridescent square-shaped glitter. Two coats are enough for opaque coverage.

Bulletproof

Тёплый карамельный серо-коричневый лак на бежевой базе с добавлением мультихромного жемчужного микрошиммера, меняющего цвет от зелёно-бирюзового до сине-голубого и фиолетового, а иногда даже розового.

This warm, caramel-toned greyish brown polish has a beige base and is filled with pearly multichrome micro shimmer which shifts from turquoise green to blue and purple — and sometimes you can even see pink flares.

Fire In The Streets

Глубокий красно-бордовый желейный голографик с каплей коричневого в подтоне и мелким мультихромным сине-зелёным шиммером.

This deep dark red linear holographic polish has a dash of brown in its base and contains fine multichrome shimmer shifting from blue to green.

Venom

Полупрозрачное светло-серое желе с большим количеством мелкого дуохромного шиммера, меняющего цвет от холодного сине-серо-стального до красного и оранжевого. В лаке также присутствуют голографические хлопья, контрастно вспыхивающие на тёмном фоне.

This sheer light grey jelly polish is packed with fine duochrome shimmer shifting from cool-toned bluish steel grey to red and orange. It also contains holographic flakes which flare up over the dark surface.

Соло я покажу один из самых летних по настроению лаков в коллекции: яркий, сверкающий радужный голографик со слюдой — Somebody Told Me

For the solo photo shoot I chose the polish with the stronder summer vibes in this collection: I’m speaking about the bright, sparkly rainbow holographic shade with flakes — Somebody Told Me.

Базой для дизайна стал нежный, на первый взгляд, нюд, с секретным оружием в виде яркого зелёного свечения — Luminous, на него я перенесла рисунок с плитки BeautyBigBang 07 при помощи краски с термоэффектом Stamping Red/Black, которая настолько пигментированная, что её не может просветить даже свечение базы. В конце покрыла всё топом MegaБлеск и несколько ночей подряд любовалась яркими ногтями-светлячками)

As a base for this design, I chose a nude polish that looks soft & meek at the first sight but has a “secret weapon” of bright green glow — Luminous. I transferred an image from the BeautyBigBang 07 stamping plate over it, using the thermo paint Stamping Red/Black, which turned out to be pigmented enough to hide the glow of the base completely. As a finishing step, I applied a coat of MegaShine top and then I admired my “firefly” nails for a few nights in a row 🙂
