Весенне-летняя коллекция бренда стала для меня скорее летней: жёлтый Giallo Napoli я уже показывала с цветущей акацией в жару, во время календарной весны, теперь настала очередь самого яркого лака в четвёрке Neapolis: New City.

The brand’s spring/summer collection is more about summer for me: I’ve already shown you the yellow Giallo Napoli against caragana flowers back in spring, during hot summerlike weather. Now is the turn of the brightest shade of the four polishes in the Neapolis: New City collection.

По первым промо Arancio Vibrante на фоне остальных лаков коллекции выглядел просто оранжевым и казалось, что без такого цвета можно было обойтись, особенно имея в лакохранилище давно любимый Holiday. Герой поста появился у меня просто за компанию с двумя другими (погоня за Verde Pastello продолжается).

In the first promo photos, next to the other shades, Arancio Vibrante looked plain orange, and I thought I could do without it, especially with my beloved Holiday in my stash. I got this polish just because I was buying the other two (I’m still on the hunt for Verde Pastello).

Получив лак в руки я очень удивилась, так как дело было при ярком солнце и для меня он стал скорее алым. Тёплым, но все же значительно более красным, чем ожидалось, даже учитывая несколько сравнений подобных лаков бренда, встреченных в Сети.

When I took it in my hands, it was a bright sunny day, and I was surprised how scarlet it looked. True, it still looked very warm-toned but redder than I expected, even after seeing comparison photos on the Internet.

Тут хочется сделать маленькое лирическое отступление и сказать, что вся «неаполитанская» коллекция Chanel затронула меня не только оттенками, но и темой отражения одного города в цвете. Неаполь был давно знаком благодаря книгам Элены Ферранте и потому не заметить четвёрку лаков, будто перекликающихся с четырьмя книгами цикла, было почти невозможно. По литературе мне сложно судить насколько оттенки передают дух города, надеюсь на мнение тех, кто уже успел там побывать)

Let me digress a little here and say that the entire Naples-themed collection from Chanel is close to my heart not only because of the colours, but also because of the city that inspired it. I know Naples from the books by Elena Ferrante, and it was nearly impossible for me to miss the four polishes that seem to embody the four books of the Neapolitan Quartet. It’s hard to say how well the shades convey the spirit of the city based on the books, I hope someone who’s already been there can share their opinion)

Цвет Arancio Vibrante очень насыщенный, огненно-красный, переходящий в оранжевый. Иногда кажется, что в нём даже просматривается что-то близкое к неону. Лак не тускнеет при разном освещении. Это цвет пылающего заката, цветущих роз и спелых даров лета.

Arancio Vibrante is indeed very vibrant. It’s a fiery red with orange tones that sometimes even looks almost neon. It remains bright in all kinds of lighting. It’s the colour of blazing sunset, blooming roses, and ripe summer fruits.

Тёплый подтон Arancio Vibrante максимально просматривается во флаконе, на ногтях оттенок становится чуть более нейтральным и, благодаря этому, может стать одним из самых универсальных оранжевых.

The warm undertone Arancio Vibrante has is most pronounced in the bottle. It becomes more neutral on the nails, which makes this hue as universally flattering as oranges can be.

В нанесении лак идеален: он ложится тонким слоем и уже с первого касания кажется, что сам себя красит.

The application is perfect: the polish goes on thinly, and from the first coat it feels like it applies itself.

Текстура близкая к желейной, но несколько плотнее. В один не слишком тонкий слой получается равномерное покрытие без просветов, но если хочется оттенка более близкого к тому, что видно во флаконе, то можно нанести и второй для плотности. Но стоит учитывать, что даже в два слоя покрытие сохраняет лёгкую полупрозрачность.

The formula is close to jelly but is slightly more opaque. Just one not too thin coat provides an even coverage, but if you like the colour closer to what you see in the bottle, you can apply two coats for better opacity. Even at two coats the polish is still slightly translucent, though.

В качестве эксперимента я попробовала нанести слои разной плотности, но это никак не повлияло на высыхание — лак сохнет почти моментально и при этом совсем без пузырей.

By way of experiment, I tried applying coats of different thickness, but that didn’t affect the drying time; the polish dries almost instantaneously without any bubbling.

Коррекция, при необходимости, не доставляет неудобств — лак легко и бесследно удаляется как с кожи, так и с ногтей.

Clean-up, if any, is hassle-free – the polish is easy to remove from skin as well as from nails and leaves no stains.

Родной глянец отличный, топом я его покрывать не стала, а только добавила кружевной стемпинг с плитки BeautyBigBang XL-005.

The finish is wonderfully shiny on its own, so I didn’t use any top coat and added a lace image from stamping plate BeautyBigBang XL-005.

Плитки BeautyBigBang не перестают удивлять — такие тонкие линии перенеслись с первого раза как на штамп, так и на ноготь.

Стойкость лака без топа оказалась очень достойной — три дня он выдержал без потерь, даже кончики не затёрлись. Очень приятный вариант для устойчивого к домашним делам, но быстрого маникюра.

The polish wore very well, considering I didn’t use any top coat. It lasted for three days without any signs of wear, even on the tips. It’s a great choice for a quick manicure that will endure housework.
